PUBLIC MEETING in CROUCH END ON 9 FEB : BREXIT: DOES IT POSE A THREAT TO THE UK FULFILLING ITS CLIMATE CHANGE OBLIGATIONS? 

The prospect of Brexit has led to much discussion about the potential impact on the UK of losing EU environmental legislation. The Labour Group in Haringey is organising a meeting on the subject, which will discuss

  • What the EU has done for air quality, water quality and consumer rights
  • What can Labour do to safeguard the environment during the Article 50 process
  • How can EU environmental legislation be incorporated into UK law
